A bunny shirt and some distressed furniture...

Here is my little angel in her PRECIOUS new bunny shirt..made by sweet friend, Suzy. She is starting her own shop on etsy..and had me take pics for it. This is what she has made for P so far. We LOVE it!!

I can't believe I FORGOT to take a before picture.. Picture a plain brown table. Got it.. OK.. Now, this is the beautiful creation I turned it into during Presley's nap today.
I used sandpaper, lots of MY muscles (lol), and off white spraypaint, and a little distressed ink. Wha la!
I am changing up the decor in my living room..I have had RED ever since we got married.. But, being a practical girl, I am moving red into my kitchen..But, the living room needed a little change. So, excited!! Found two of the pillows below..and I have a gorgeous plan for the living room.. YAY, for change!! You will have to wait until we get in our new place to see what I have in mind.. This table will be in it for sure!!

Still waiting on the movers to call.. UGH.. I am such a planner.. I need to have a date..But, I am staying positive..for now :)

We love the weather in Ohio.. Matt and I joke that we never remember sweating last spring/summer. There's always a breeze, and its just not really humid, like the good ol' south. I am really going to MISS this!! I am trying to go outside everyday..just to enjoy it. Last week, we went house hunting in Nashville, and it was ALREADY HOT!! ugh. NO fun!! But, I will survive. :)
We found a townhouse..and we are super excited about it. Its located in Brentwood, and only about 20-25 min from just about everything..including airport, and Matt's job. Also, Dolly Parton lives very close. Maybe I will run into her at Kroger. lol
I will get pictures of it once we get everything moved in and decorated. Its a 3 bedroom + bonus room, 2 1/2 bath, kitchen, living room, and garage. Just perfect for us. We thought renting was the best option again, because we will probably only be in Nashville 1year-18 months.

I am so ready for the move to be over. Thankfully, Carmax is great and moves us. They pack up everything!! I don't lift a finger.. just gotta work this week on getting things organized. We will most likely be moving the week after Easter.. which is too funny..because we moved last year on the 25th of April..it just may happen again on the same day.

I am so blessed to have this sweet P to enjoy this great weather with. She is such a JOY!
I can't wait to get to our new place and take her somewhere great for a "real photo shoot" This was in our little yard..and I just love the trees and how beautiful they are blooming at the moment. God is so good. I am seeing his grace more and more these days.

Thankful Thursday

I have some very exciting news..and something to be very thankful for...
We found out last week that Matt got a promotion and will be the new Regional SDL..YAY! So proud of him!!!
SO, we are moving to Nashville!!!
It is so great that we will be closer to home and get to see family more..but, there are some hard parts, too. I remember feeling depressed when we were told we would be moving to Cincinnati. I had NEVER moved away before, and couldn't even imagine it.
Now, a year later.. I am sad to go. God has been so great and has brought some life long friends into our lives. We have a great church, and love our community so much. Ohio is just overall-- GREAT.
Thankfully, facebook and skype will make it easier to go, but, I am going to miss it and the sweet people!

Also, a big change will happen (starting next week) Matt will be traveling most every week for work, an adjustment that will take some getting use to!
I know that the Lord is faithful, and He will get us through it.
Again, thankful for Skype.
I am very excited for this new adventure, and prayfully ready! Please keep us in your prayers as we looking for the perfect house to rent. This job will only be for 12-18 months, so we thinking renting is the best option for now.
Today is Matt's last day at the Cincinnati Carmax..I know its bittersweet..He has made some great friends, too! Please pray for him..as he adjusts to being a traveling worker :)
Its so great to see God's faithfulness through this whole experience of moving...We knew it was best to move here, and it was clear its what God wanted, and now he is bringing us back to TN! :)
Super excited that our sweet friends ( we met here in Ohio) the Mckown's just moved to Spring Hill, TN..close to Nashville!! So happy to already have great friends close by!

More than anything...we are SO thankful for this little girl. The joy she brings us is indescribable!!! WE are blessed beyond measure. Someone found her Easter eggs early!! lol

Presley and her friend Lily

We had a great week! I had Ladies Bible Study Tuesday, and Thursday was MOPs..so Presley and I got to get out some..and she got to see her sweet church friends. We ended the week with Presley having a playdate with her friend, Lily.
Presley was TOO cute with her from the moment she got to my house. Seeing the two of them, really made me think how much fun it would be to have another GIRL....Not happening right now..and I would be just as happy with a boy..but, seeing girls play together is just so precious to me. Presley was so kind and shared her toys.. She keep trying to hand her one saying, "Here ya go, Lily." and "What's wrong, Lily?" when Lily looked a little sad when her mommy left.. It made me so proud..to see the sweetness in her heart.

Lily is just so precious, so I took them outside for a bit to have a little photo session..

This was so funny.. because Presley says, "Come on Lily, come sit with me."

         We love playdates with friends.. Presley is just like me.. she is a bit of a social butterfly. :)

We also went to Carter's on Friday, and scored big...50% off everything til Sunday... really cute stuff right now, too!

HA!! I just found this one..and HAD to add it. Hilarious.. gotta love that Presley's pants are unbuttoned, too. :)

Hello Spring!!

Goodbye COLD winter days.. Goodbye Fall, Hello Spring!!

 We had so much fun playing in our yard today! We thought about going to park, but, it started looking like rain..so we just stayed home. Presley and I LOVE getting out and enjoying this BEAUTIFUL weather!! Notice the picture below, she thought she should take a break and nap for a minute! ;)

We are still on the countdown.. Matt works next 5 days.. it will be his 9th day to work.. oh, and he usually works 12 hour days. Needless to say, my boy is tired..and we are so ready for the weekend!! Thankfully, we are pretty busy this week! Yay, for busy weeks!!

I have Bible Study in the morning..and I read this verse this week.. Love it!

LOVE the Once Upon A Child here..

Ok, so in MASON, OHIO.. I love Once Upon a Child!!
Memphis.. had cute stuff sometimes..and sometimes..not so much. The one thing I ALWAYS hated was the Memphis store had a strange smell..and all the clothes always smelled funny.

NOT here.. Not in OHIO!
I had a $5 off $25 purchase coupon. YAY!
I SCORED big time.

I got ALL OF THIS for $32!!!! Now, the crazy part is the adorable skirt with the strawberries ( it was a must) is from CrewCuts, so I looked up the price. They have one now for $39 with NO strawberries. :) SO, people.. I SAVED!!!!!! BIGTIME!
Plus, they always have a great selection.

Grandmommy got Presley some cute things from Carters for summer, so now, she should be pretty good. I still need to get her some cute white sandals. Her wide feet can be a challenge. :)

I kindof have a think for Strawberries.. JUST LOVE THEM!!

Maybe because I loved Strawberry Shortcake as a child? hmm.. who knows :)

I just had to get this shirt ($1.50) because of Daisy :)

It will make a great play shirt for the park.

 I just LOVE bargain shopping.. makes for a happy day!! :)

On a sad note.. Matt has to work lots this week.. He went back on Thursday and works until NEXT Friday.. so we are counting down the days..until his next weekend off!!
