Five for Friday

1) So excited.. today, Matt was off work.. so we tried a new Mexican restaurant that was pretty good.. much much much better than the 1st one we tried here.. Here is the one we went to.. And I give it a 4 star..I had the lunch fajitas..so yummy. Cherry Coke and Cheese dip were pretty good, too. http://www.mycaporal.com/

2) Loving my summer perfume.. I wear different ones.. but, am really liking this for summer!

3) Loves this raw, unedited pictures of Presley :)

She is taking her MONKEY all over the house now, even to breakfast every morning, and don't dare try and take it away.. You will get screams and very mean looks.

4) My little girl likes to be in control of the TV shows we watch.. Oh, my!

5) Last, but not least, I am so excited about our new jogging stroller.. much better for the parks here..And it could go boy/girl for the next baby...So excited..Also, has a mp3 hookup with speakers so we can listen to music.. It was the best for the price!

Never say never.

Today started out great.. Presley and I went to the pool..with some sweet friends+kiddos.. We only stayed a little while, b/c she was ready for a nap. After she woke up, I thought I would go to Wal-Mart.. grab some Father's Day cards..and a few grocery items we needed.. So on my way out.. IT happened.. a horrible thing.. that I am still a little upset about.. but, much better.. I put Presley in carseat, buckled her in, gave her water ( her cup) , and goldfish.. put groceries in the car, threw keys in front seat.. shut door.. OH NO!!!!!! I locked my precious baby in the car! I don't know how it happened because I never hit lock.. but, all doors were! Thankfully, a sweet lady ( angel) appeared calmly told me to go inside and call 911..b/c the police would get to us the fastest..and she would stay with the car.. I RACED in and called.. in mins.. they were at her rescue.. THANKFULLY! She was only in car maybe 10 min.. and it is in the 80s, not hundreds, and poor thing had water.
The policeman was super sweet.. along, with sweet lady.. (who I wish know I would have gotten her info.. to send a thank you)
.. SO, if this ever happens to you.. call the police. Learn from my mistake. It could happen to anyone, I know.. but, it was a horrible 15 min!! I cried like a baby.. and smothered her with kisses when I got to her. Funny thing was.. ever time I tried to look in the car to check on her.. I had to press my face to the glass ( since we have tint) and she was laughing thinking I was playing peek- a- boo.
~I will be more careful, and never again will I toss my keys up front.

My little girl is growing up.. She isn't a little baby anymore. Kindof sad!

This week..
I have NOT being feeling well the last few days.. I think it was a sinus headache.. no fun, that's for sure! Presley hasn't been feeling great either.. so we have been inside the last two days..thankfully I am feeling much better..and hope to get some pool time in tommorrow.
Matt's job.. Carmax opens tomorrow..please keep him in your prayers. It will be a hard week. But, he is sooo ready to be selling cars again! His schedule goes back to crazy hours.. so I am kindof sad about that. But, very blessed he has a great job that he LOVES.. very important!

I haven't posted a blog of favorites lately.. This little girl is MY favorite.. And I love how animated she can be.. So sweet to see her getting excited about the Bible so early.. My prayer is she will always have an excitement for reading the Word..we should ALL be this happy to read it, daily! :)

I know this new song that plays on my blog -" Nothing on you.." is suppose to be a love interest.. but, it always reminds me of Presley. :) So I will leave it for a few days..

She lights up when she sees OLIVIA.. I have to admit.. I LOVE this show, too.. it is super cute.. and Olivia is soo funny.. We just love it.. And hope to meet her in person one day.. so jealous she will be in Memphis.. Olivia, please visit Ohio soon!

Today was a great day! The weather here is PERFECT.. sunny, with a nice breeze...so it was just the right day to go to our pool. I was even more excited because I invited Tiffany and Lindsey + kids to come over and swim, too! I was happy they all got to come! It is much more fun to swim with others. :) It was so fun seeing the kids play.. Presley was so funny.. she started leaning back, and closing her eyes.. She's was " laying out!" Gotta LOVE her! I am seeing lots of pool days ahead! YAY!

Avery is hilarious.. I just LOVE this kid.. She says the cutest things.. and reminds me so MUCH of Presley and I's very favorite show Olivia.. she could be HER.. today, she started out a little nervous ( it being her 1st time in a "big" pool) and ended up all over the pool.. She is a doll!!

Playdates

First.. I AM JUST LOVING this cutie pies' hair!! :)

This has been a fun week.. Presley and I have had two different playdates.. We just love getting out of the house and we LOVE getting to know our new friends a little better, too! We missed little Greyson's 2nd birthday party.. so we took his gift over--and stayed to play a while. Presley loves his sprinkler ball..That girl just loves anything to do with sprinklers.. WE had fun! Lindsey is a sweetheart, too!
*Funny side note.. Her Daddy LOVES sprinklers, too.. When we first got married, he was a little obsessed with the yard, and everytime I turned around, he was buying a new sprinkler.. Even bought the John Deer Tractor one! :) Which we gave to his buddy Steve, when we moved... So I guess she gets the love of the sprinkler from him! Ha!*
Today, we headed over to Tiffany's house-- She and I met first through our blogs, and we also attend the same church. She has two precious kiddos, Avery and Tyson..and a baby due in August.. We had a rainy morning, so we just stayed in. Presley loved playing with an older girl--in fact, at one point she had gotten all the way upstairs and her and Avery were playing with jewerly.. lol.. She really loved the stairs, too.. That girl came CLIMB, very very fast! It was great to get to know Tiffany more.. She has a super cute home, and has very similiar taste.. I think we all hit it off very well! Tyson was just ADORABLE.. I think Presley might have a little crush ;) We play on all hanging out at the pool tommorrow.. I hope the weather is NICE!!

Pigs and not always are friends..

Well, we have been super busy the past week.. and I am LOVING it.. I like to have lots of things on the calendar.. Don't get me wrong.. I love days at home, too..Just not too many in a row! ha! So, we LOVED Parky's farm.. it was so much fun.. until the end.
Presley and I went into the "petting zoo" area and it was so much fun.
At first.
Then we went over to this pig ( boar, meany, whatever you would like to call him) and it all went downhill. He was minding his own business.. eating his own grass.. and Presley gets down next to him..and starts pulling up grass ( guess, she wanted to be like Mr. Boar) Anyways, fast as lighting he nudged her.. I screamed.. she CRIED! DRAMA at the farm!!
After we got home, I noticed a strap on her ear.. Mr. Mean Pig got Presley. Poor thing.. Mom of the year award...goes right here! I felt HORRIBLE! But, we were in a petting zoo!! Lesson Learned.. no petting pigs, ever! This was taken right before the attack! :)

Grandmommy and Granddad also came to visit.. We loved having them for the weekend.. We went to eat, went to Jungle Jim's Market.. and on the last day made it over to one of my favorite parks..Pine Hills.. It was PERFECT weather this weekend.. We were also excited to have Daddy all weekend, too! We love it when he is off work! :) She loves this park..We even let P get in the sprinklers with her clothes on.. She was in heaven! Here are a few pics of our weekend..









Lets just say, there were many tears shed when we had to take her away from this sprinkler heaven.. We promised we would be back.. many times! :) And with a face like that.. How could I not!??
