Christmas in Memphis

After celebrating Christmas (just us three) we drove to Memphis..
We did round 1 at my Mom's, round 2 at my Grandmother's ( Dad's mom) and round 3 at Matt's grandmother's.

Our family Christmas in Nashville

So the Saturday before Christmas, we did our little family Christmas ( just us 3..well 4 if you count Baby S)
Santa came to see Presley.. she was amazed that the reindeer ate her carrots she left them and that Santa took care of the milk and cookie she left the night before :)
We really wanted this year to stay simple. She enjoyed all of her toys and we had fun just being lazy and seeing her face light up!
That afternoon we headed to Memphis to spend Christmas with our family.
I cherish these moments just as our family.
I didn't edit one picture. so look past the fact they are all in AUTO, with pop up flash. :)

 Her Christmas included: a thomas train track, trains, Mega Blocks, Magnetic Doll Set, Books, Movies Candyland, snoopy shirt, and stocking stuffers :)

The big hit was the $1 Lipbalm.. she LOVEs her "lips" as she calls them.

Again, why pay $$$.. they usually love the cheap stuff or boxes the best :)

BIG NEWS!!

Ok, I have failed at the whole blogging thing... But, mainly because I have been tired and super sick.. All for good reason, though.. We are excited about this ANNOUNCEMENT!!

              Here are just a few of my favorites, a few of them were on our Christmas Card this year :)

Can't belive how much she has changed in 3 years!! We have lived in 3 different cities for each picture!! Pretty crazy, but have loved the journey so far! She LOVED Santa this year, and was super excited to see him and tell him her "list".. At one point she got nervous, and He was so sweet, he told her to take her time, it was ok :) 

We had a wonderful Christmas, and I will be posting on it..one day..

Tomorrow I will have a 3 year old little girl! Where has the time gone??

 I was so excited because honestly I didn't know if I was going to send out any cards this year but if I can get them for free...why not?! Right?! I just LOVE shutterfly! I used them last year and was SO happy with the outcome!

I got them in plenty of time and was so happy to get them for free. Who doesn't like free.

Halloween

Halloween was alot of fun this year! We just stayed in our little neighborhood and meet up with some friends to walk house to house with.
My baby girl was a sweet little cupcake :)
She really got into trick or treating this year.. and LOVED, and still is loving on the candy she received! lol
I loved that she said, "Thank you" to each person that gave her candy. Her little manners impress me and make me one proud mommy. I pray she continues to be grateful for her many blessings, and happy for what she has..not always wanting something new or better. We all have way more than we would ever need or deserve,  and it makes me happy to see her innocent grateful spirit.
I can only pray Matt and I are good examples of giving more of ourselves, time, and love instead of fulfilling her with material things.

This black cat just appeared and LOVED following Presley.. So strange of all nights.. He followed us from house to house! 

Vacation to the mountains..

I am so behind with the blogging.. I will have to add more pictures later.. Just so many!! Matt's sister, Neely, and her little girl, Elise came to visit us in Nashville the day before our trip. The next morning, we all got up and drove to Grandmommy's and Granddad's house. We had a blast seeing these two play together!! It is so cool to watch! I love that Presley has a cousin just 2 days younger. We let them play in our backyard, and they loved it.. They played in the dirt better than any boy I know!

One day we went on a nature walk.. and a picnic.. It was so much fun!

The girls each got a bag, and collected their little treasures. :) Granddad's idea, so fun!

We went to Carver's and walked a minute in the apple orchard.. SO beautiful..to see the mountains in the background.
