Roxy; Our 1st puppy.

We had a very hard day today.. We found a sweet family here in Memphis to take Roxy. Wow.. Was it hard! We are so grateful we found a home for her, and the family gave us their info to stay in touch.. but, being the "mother hen" I felt like I was giving away a child.. I know she will be ok.. but, that didn't make it any easier.
Matt also left for Ohio today.. so he will be starting his first week this coming Monday. Last night was our last night together, with Roxy.. in our 1st house we built together, and have so many memories together.. It has be really hard.. but I trust that this is God's plan. I am just ready for us all to be together in our new place. In a week, it will be here!

Cinderella

Matt and I have loved this song.. even before Presley was born.. We have prayed together for her future. Matt made it a tradition to dance with her on her birthday.. and every other chance he could. I think the relationship a daddy and his little girl have is PRICELESS.. It is so fun to see how much she loves him.. and how much he loves her. Today, we were on our way out the door and she was just saying, "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy..." over and over and over... We couldn't help but laugh.. Her first and favorite word.. Daddy. I couldn't help but think of our heavenly father.. that loves us unconditionally.. No matter how many times we mess up, or don't spend time with him.. He is still there.. Loving us. all the time. always there. loving us.

I am thinking this would be the perfect song.. for father/ daughter dance.. thank goodness I have awhile!!

3 things that make me smile:)

1. I am super excited.. I found this great milk glass lamp today at a local antique store.. have always wanted one..It will go PERFECT in P's room.. I was super excited! just LOVE it!

2. I also needed a camera bag for my new camera.. I don't won't to hurt/break my new toy! Those that know me well, know RED is my favorite color.. I know its small.. but, I really think it will be perfect for what I need.. We will call her Ruby.. I think that's a great name, don't you? ;) I can't wait to see her in person!

3. And last, my not least.. this little girl.. Grandmommy, Granddad and I went to lunch at the Serendipity Tea Room today.. She wanted to be a part, so we let her have a "big girl spoon"..Ah, just a proper little number, she is!!

My new Camera

I am super excited.. I got a new camera!! I bought it from my b/f Court.. but she took great care of it.. It is a Canon Rebel Xti.. and I am in LOVE:)

Easter

Wow.. how she has changed in 1 year!!!

Here are some great pics Courtney took...I just love all her crazy faces!! She made us laugh so much...and best news of the week.. I bought Courtney's awesome camera from her..I am SUPER EXCITED!!!!... so she could get a really awesome camera.. Yay me, Yay her!! WIN WIN!!

Where did the time go?? WOW.. it flew by!! She is such a joy.. I am one BLESSED mommy!

Moving on up....

So we will be moving in a few weeks!!! Thankfully, Carmax does all the moving for us.. so we won't be like those poor people above! lol!!
Our house in Memphis sold.. to the first couple that looked at it.. Hey, what can I say.. I must have really great taste! HA! NO, really.. God has been so good.. He is putting people in my life to encourage me and remind me that this move is a good thing. I have made a few friends in Cincy already!! He really is helping me get over myself....I have come to terms with it.. still hard.. but getting better!
We have found the townhouse we will be living in.. it is a 3 bedroom ranch style.. It is smaller than our house.. so it will be an adjustment.. but we will survive!! I am excited for what God has in store for us!
Presley is growing like a weed!! She had her 15 month check up today.. She is 23.10 Lbs, 32 inches, 47 1/2 head circ.. it was our last visit with Dr. Miller.. man.. I WILL MISS HER!! She has been an amazing Dr. for P.. hopefully I will find one just like her in Ohio! She has been walking everywhere.. and talking up a storm! IT is so much fun having a little girl.. all the girly clothes for summer are to die for! We went shopping with Grandmommy and Granddad the other day.. Gap and Gymboree were having some great sales...here are two of our cute finds.. I am so ready for summer.. She LOVES to be OUTSIDE..it is on of her favorite words at the moment..so I can't wait to take her to all the great parks I have heard about in Ohio..http://www.greatparks.org/
