Strawberry pickin'

So this morning we get up, eat breakfast and get ready for our playdate.. WE hung out with Suzy today--her husband works with mine. We just met recently at a Carmax cookout..She and I hit it off from the beginning! Her little girl, Lily is 11 months and is a DOLL! She told me there was a Meetup group in our area with moms from Maineville and that we should try it. So we both e-mailed the leader and the first playdate we could both make was today.
It was at Blooms and Berry Farm in Loveland and we were going to pick strawberries.. Well, that sounded awesome to me!! I am getting soo tired of being at home.. so any excuse to be around other moms, I'm in! It was great-- It was muddy, so the girls got pretty dirty.. A sundress probably wasn't the best idea, but, she looked cute, none the less. :)
She was pretty confused about the whole "picking" strawberries concept. You see, she loved helping pick the berries, but everytime I tried to help and looked away she was taking them BACK out of the crate and putting them BACK into the bushes!! This method kindof defeats the purpose..so I picked rather quickly.
Suzy and I were a little early and we went ahead and started, since we had no idea who we were really looking for.. then we started asking random moms.. if they were in the group.. and none of them were...Then, the meetup moms group arrived.(Glad to know they aren't always on time)

They were all super nice--and most have young children, which is nice! As I am getting to know a little about one.. Suzy says to me, "Tiff um, Presley...um.." I turn to find her INSIDE, SITTING, in some ladies FULL basket ( big basket) of strawberries~ kicking and wallowing like a little pig..Oh yeah! So, I am thinking OH NO.. and as I am the lady comes walking over. What in the world do you say, other than, "I am so sorry, can I help you pick more berries??" Thankfully, she was soo sweet and we didn't smash too many..I do hate that the camera was already packed..but, that wouldn't be very nice of me to take a picture, then get my child out of the mess, huh? But, darn that would have made a GREAT picture! My goodness, this child!! She keeps my days interesting! So, Suzy and I decided it was best for us to leave and go grab some lunch..with our very messy little girls! :) We went to a place in Loveland called Paxton..
