Early Birthday Dinner...

Before we left for dinner.. we took some silly pics :)

My sweet friend, Suzy got the Carmax girls together..
last night for my birthday..
It was soo much fun..
We went to Bravo's -YUM!
Megan got sick and couldn't make it.. so it ended up being Suzy, Jenn, and I plus the babies (Lily and Presley)
Someone must have told Presley that it was a NICE restaurant b/c she usually acts wonderful.. but, not last night. I will say that she did great for the most part.. But, we walked in and after we got seated.. I looked down and saw this huge cut on her wrist.. NO idea where it came from?? So, I was trying to figure that out..?? still no clue.
Then we ordered our food.. P was whining because she wanted Lily's crayons.. Even though she had 3 in her hand! lol
Everything was great.. she was being wonderful.. until I gave her my necklace ( mistake) b/c she keep trying to get it.. it ended up wrapping it around her hand.. got mad.. cried!
I took it away, got her out of her Highchair ( mistake#2) and comforted her.. Then, she wanted down.. thankfully it was almost time to go.. so I picked her up..and this is where the fun began... She started SCREAMING and hitting me.. so poor Suzy had to help me gather my stuff.. and I felt like I was famous, b/c every eye was on me.. Of course, a whole group of people were walking down the tiny isle .. I against the flow.. Ah, what joy!! I got her outside explained to her that hitting was wrong and that we were going home to see Daddy. She did get better.. and the car ride home I spend crying... I know not everyday is going to be perfect..and I know that I am entering a very testing time. I try not to take it personal..and I just want to make the right choices when it comes to discipline. Just as I get her into bed.. she leans up and gives me a kiss..and this is what makes it ALL worth it.. just precious and a little stinker all at the same time! :)
So tonight I went and picked up several books on the matter.. Maybe some free advice will help!! I can only hope!! :)
My dinner was great.. they were so sweet with cards, paying for dinner, and a gift card to Target! I just loved that I have such sweet friends in Ohio already!
