My little monkey

This morning..we did something a little different that the normal routine.. Normally, when P wakes up..I change her.. then she either brings Monkey with her to breakfast or asks for it ( whines)
But, not this morning.. As soon as I was done changing her.. She grabbed her Monkey.. climbed in her rocking chair and just started rocking him, talking to him, pointing at things in her room ( as if he doesn't see it everyday :) lol
It was soo cute! This monkey has been her best friend since she was 6 months old.. Matt got him for her in Hot Springs, AR..on a family getaway weekend..and every night she sleeps with him.. He has gotten WAY more kisses than her daddy and I..and I really think its a sweet little bond they got going :) He's her monkey.. and she will always be my little monkey! :)
I also grabbed my small camera for these.. it is just so much easier to use at times like this.. I just love her in her PJs, half awake state.. I can't imagine not being a mommy to this sweet little girl.. And I am thankful to God everyday..for how blessed my life really is.
