This little girl is keeping me laughing..It was a little warmer the other day, so I took a blanket outside for us to sit on and brought some sidewalk chalk for us to color with. Presley had a different idea. She covered up and said, "Goodnight, Mommy!" lol

She took it very serious. for 2 min. then she was finished!
I was trying so hard to not laugh at this face, then realized..there was a reason for her big eyes..and saying AH..MOMMY!!
Meet our neighbors dog.. Scared me to death..but, wouldn't hurt a fly.
I am so anxious to use my new lens on a NON cloudy day.. I just want a little sun to work with!! Lol
It rained again, today.. but, I am going to take some advice from the MOPs girls..like the bible verse says..this is the day that the Lord has made..I will rejoice and be glad in it!
I am missing my sweet husband...he left for Nashville yesterday with some work related matters.. Praying for his safety on the road..and ready for his return!
Some things Presley has done lately.. Gosh she is hilarious.
I told her the other day, that we had to wait until we got home to eat lunch..she says.. Yes, Mommy..Patience! Ah.. she is listening.. and can say Patience now.. lol
She woke up the other day from her nap..
She always calls out Mommy or Daddy..and I reply back I'm coming.
This day, she was saying MOMMY, I COMING.. both parts. :)
She loves her friends at Church..always asking when/if we are going..to see FRIENDS, at CHURCH! Love that she loves going..and its so great for her to be around other children.
I loved this segment on the Today Show about being a Happy Mom
Loved the part about not comparing yourselves to other moms.. I have really learned this fact in the last year.. to be THANKFUL for things I have..and not always trying to compare my mothering, or what somebody else has to my own. I am so much happier to enjoy the sweet simple things..rather than getting wrapped up in going shopping and having to have that new "thing" whatever it is.
So Stop competing. AMEN!
Happy Mommy=Happy EVERYONE! ;)
Today was MOPS.. and it was GREAT! The mentor moms answered questions..and it was great Godly advice. I am so thankful for this group of girls and the mentor moms that helped me learn soo MUCH!!
few things I took from it : ( there were so MANY)
1. Bible says, Put your husbands first ( you are one flesh, and putting the children first can hurt the marriage) You aren't just a parent, you are a wife. too. Make time for each other..dates, etc.
2. Enjoy every second.. remember why you became a mom in the first place ( and if ya stay at home?) why? play with your children!
3. Have friendships with other couples/ girls that have healthy Christian marriages.
4. Think about the end result when raising them in this culture..sensor what goes in their heads...We are so worried about them eating well..should be worried about the garbage going in. (TV, movies, media)
5. Love with unconditonal love.
6. In your marriage, show resolved conflict in front of your kids.. Its ok to disagree in front of them with appropriate things, done respectfully..just need to show good example of resolving them and that you love and forgive one another when you do say/do something hurtful.
(example was her parents never fought in front of kids ( always behind close doors) then got divorced years later.. and she didn't know really how to disagree or solve conflicts since she had never seen it played out)
7. Having dinner with an older couple who have children older than yours.. to gain insight on what they did that worked, best advice, etc.

Great post, Tiffany! Thanks for all these reminders. Competing with other Moms will eat a person alive. It's no fun. I have learned that along the way for sure!
