On Saturday, we drove out to Loveless Cafe. I have heard really great things about this place.. But, had no idea that the normal wait is a hour or longer!!! Thankfully, we got there around 11, so we got to our table a little after 12. It wasn't bad waiting, since they have a little gift shop, and lots of areas to sit outside. The are known for their chicken and biscuits, so that's what we had! Matt and I LOVE fried green tomatoes.. so we ordered those, too!! For dessert, we ordered the Chocolate Fudge Pie.. OH MY! It was AMAZING!
We will be back for sure, but only on occasion.. we can't eat like that and stay healthy, too! :)
That afternoon, we took Presley to the park, then went to the grocery store.. Matt loves to grill.. so he made us this amazing meal! He steamed shrimp in butter, and spices on the grill and Italian chicken, too. I made baked potatoes and pasta salad..and we had a great dinner together after we put Presley to sleep.
On Sunday, we didn't make Church because it was raining and the service was outside..so we watched How to Train your Dragon and hung out. I popped popcorn, and Presley had it for the first time, she LOVED it and almost ate the entire bowl!! She will really love going to the movies in July! :) After Presley's nap, we went outside to play with chalk and then we got the water hose out, and Presley had the time of her life...Matt really got into it, too! Love seeing them giggle together!!After that, we just got some things done around the house, and I made Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup in the crockpot for dinner..great for a rainy day!!
So blessed to have this sweet little family!!
We were sad to see Matt go on Monday for a week. On my way out the door to run errands, Monday.. I noticed I had NO CARSEAT in my CAR! AHHH, Matt had taken it to the airport! Thankfully, my sweet friend Lindsey came over and watched Presley so I could go buy another one! I am loving it!! Presley looks so much more comfortable in it! It will convert to a booster, and she can use it forever! YAY! We also got her a cute little life jacket for her first lake trip this coming weekend! :) She is gonna have so much fun!!
Couldn't choose between clean/ antique look..so I did some of both :)
Someone also just did a somersault for the 1st.. ALL by HERSELF..as she is saying daily these days :)
She was VERY excited about it!
Matt let Presley hold the nozzle and spray it, ALL by HERSELF.. and SHE WAS SOOO HAPPY!! I have so many other pics of these, but, here are my favs.! Gotta love that belly!
