AWESOME part, I got the very end of it.. her saying Mommy..on video. LOVE this sweet little voice!
What a blessing she is .. we are still working on the potty training...some..but, I have backed down lots. She will tell me when she is ready. I can't convince her, although I have tried. So we are still in pull-ups.. still sits on potty many times, just hasn't gone in two days. SO, we are going to let it rest. I am going to enjoy her at this stage, and love what she is doing at this moment..not rushing to the next. I am a little sad about her potty training, just because it means she will be a big girl. I can't believe how fast time has FLEW. The 31st she will be 2 1/2!!!
She is keeping me laughing daily.
Today, we went to eat Mexican for lunch and she said hi and bye to some other little girls in the booth next to us.. She is NOT shy, and super friendly..which I adore about her. She also tells the waiter what she wants to order, and its usually a cheeseburger, which she has NEVER had, and won't try.. lol.. think its from the Cheeseburger VeggieTales song. It must be. :)
Yesterday, while at Target I asked if she needed to potty, she says, yes. We are sitting there..( did she go..NOPE, big negative..but, at least she was "trying!!"
The lady next to us does her business, and Presley gets wide eyed, and starts screaming YAY, and cheering..like we were at a basketball game. I said, No honey, that's not you.. lol!! I am so sure, trying to trick me!! :)The lady starts laughing..then Presley leans down and peeks under the stall at her, and says, HI!...AH!! Gotta love her.
She is saying please, thank you, your welcome, and bless you.. which makes me so proud.
She is also saying NO, and has to get told that's not ok. :)
She also, has hit that fun age..she is very strong willed..and very opinioned. She wants things a certain way and her timing..Uh, ummm..potty training. :) This can be hard, but, she is so sweet and loving it makes up for itShe is talking up a storm.. and is loving Veggie Tales, Dora, and her newest Alvin and the Chipmunks.

I can't wait to take her to her very first 1st movie! She has been getting excited to see previews for Winnie the Pooh..so I think in July, Matt and I will take to see it. I am SO excited, because I loved it as a child, and its a classic..so sweet for a 1st movie. Check out the trailer, going to be such a great movie!!!
She is loving Daisy more and more.. Cuddles with her, calls her to, "Come take a bath Daisy! Come Night Night, Daisy,etc" So sweet.
She loves her Daddy, and is starting to notice him not being home..which, is so hard.. SO, we called him tonight, and hopefully soon can set him up with skype. I am just so glad this job is only for 18 months at the longest, and he can get traveling out of the way, while she is still so young.
She also is LOVING to dance lately, if she hears music..Its on! She shakes those hips like no other..lol She even said, "Shake that booty, the other day and was doing it will looking over her shoulder to see herself! I about died. Where does she gets this from?? :) ok..so we do both love to dance.
I am excited because after lots of praying and thinking about it.. I think we are going to wait until next year for Preschool. She will be going several times a week to our church childcare in the fall and spring while I am in Mops and bible study, so she will get lots of interaction with children in a Christian environment there. She is doing so well, and is saying all her numbers, colors, shapes, etc. so our main concern is being social at this point. I am very excited to have found a great dance studio where she will be starting ballet/tumble once a week in August. She is going to LOVE it..and I can't wait to see her with other little girls her age having fun. I mean she is just 2 1/2, she will have school forever..I want her to be a toddler and have fun at this age.
This girl is growing fast..too fast at times.. but, she will ALWAYS be my BABY! :) I just have a LOVE for Rompers.. not the best idea for potty training..but, they are just too cute!!
