Cincy Children's Museum

Matt was off work yesterday.. it was too hot for the zoo, so we thought the Children's Museum would be fun! We were right!! It is sooo COOL! Heaven for a kid!
WE did get lost, we didn't have cash.. and had to go to an atm to pay for parking.. but, we finally made it! Presley LOVED it! I think she will love it even more the older she gets... Here are some pictures of our fun day! Enjoy!

Early Birthday Dinner...

Before we left for dinner.. we took some silly pics :)

My sweet friend, Suzy got the Carmax girls together..
last night for my birthday..
It was soo much fun..
We went to Bravo's -YUM!
Megan got sick and couldn't make it.. so it ended up being Suzy, Jenn, and I plus the babies (Lily and Presley)
Someone must have told Presley that it was a NICE restaurant b/c she usually acts wonderful.. but, not last night. I will say that she did great for the most part.. But, we walked in and after we got seated.. I looked down and saw this huge cut on her wrist.. NO idea where it came from?? So, I was trying to figure that out..?? still no clue.
Then we ordered our food.. P was whining because she wanted Lily's crayons.. Even though she had 3 in her hand! lol
Everything was great.. she was being wonderful.. until I gave her my necklace ( mistake) b/c she keep trying to get it.. it ended up wrapping it around her hand.. got mad.. cried!
I took it away, got her out of her Highchair ( mistake#2) and comforted her.. Then, she wanted down.. thankfully it was almost time to go.. so I picked her up..and this is where the fun began... She started SCREAMING and hitting me.. so poor Suzy had to help me gather my stuff.. and I felt like I was famous, b/c every eye was on me.. Of course, a whole group of people were walking down the tiny isle .. I against the flow.. Ah, what joy!! I got her outside explained to her that hitting was wrong and that we were going home to see Daddy. She did get better.. and the car ride home I spend crying... I know not everyday is going to be perfect..and I know that I am entering a very testing time. I try not to take it personal..and I just want to make the right choices when it comes to discipline. Just as I get her into bed.. she leans up and gives me a kiss..and this is what makes it ALL worth it.. just precious and a little stinker all at the same time! :)
So tonight I went and picked up several books on the matter.. Maybe some free advice will help!! I can only hope!! :)
My dinner was great.. they were so sweet with cards, paying for dinner, and a gift card to Target! I just loved that I have such sweet friends in Ohio already!

19 months...

My little sweetie pie is 19 months... I am buying 24month to 2T clothes.. Just crazy how fast time flies! She is into everything! Loves to climb..let's just say I say, "Get down." many times in one day.. Her favorites food include: grapes, bananas, most fruits, chicken nuggets, fish sticks, and her fav. is french fries..which we only get every now and then.. But, she knows what they are.. today, in the car I asked her if she wanted some.. and she said YES!!! over and over!!
Her favorite place to go is the park.. she loves the playgrounds and the sprinkler area.. She is growing up sooo fast!
I am loving every minute.. of being Presley's mommy!

We are a little behind on pictures.. I need to get a new card for my camera... I hate having to erase them to take new ones. Last Sunday, when Presley and I came home from Church- she looked too cute, not to take pics.. I got some of her eating her Peanut Butter Sandwich.. This girl LOVEs food! lol

Playdate at Sharon Woods

Today was a fun day! The other day, Summer told me about the MOPs playdate at the park..I thought it would be a good way to meet some of the other girls. MOPs starts in Sept..and I can't wait!!They were all super friendly!
I spend most of the time chasing little P around. She had a blast! Big playground, sprinkler area, little walking creek-- It was so much fun.. until she had to leave-- She threw one of her fits..and it was pretty hard to get her in the stroller.. She was fighting me! Gotta love this age! LOL

In other..not so exciting news...I have a birthday in a week.. and its a Friday the 13th birthday..lol
I can't believe I am going to be 29!!!!!!! 30 is coming WAY TOO FAST!!! I am so excited.. Matt got me the Nike's I wanted.. and the Carmax girls are going to take me out next Monday.. so sweet! It will be my very 1st birthday ever..away from home.. :(
