Fun weekend

So.. Matt was off for 3 whole days! It was great to have him home to spend quality time with Presley and I!
Sat. --we were pretty lazy..then took P to a nearby sprinkler park, then to Ruby Tuesday's for their salad bar..so good!
Sun, -- we visited a new church-- Montgomery Community..it was wonderful.. they had a guest speaker ( who I LOVED) but, am anxious to hear their pastor this upcoming week. We came home, took naps, then Matt grilled out.. it was a great day!
Mon.- we went to Sushi for lunch-- found a pretty good place--not as great as Osaka back home, but it was good..then headed over to Lowes for the paint for P's room.. I thought I had the color picked out.. but, ended up going with a slightly different color, that i LOVE!!!!! It looks amazing with the yellow, white, and pink accents.. I have to get it decorated before I post pictures. So soon, promise!

I also, am LOVING life right now.. I am finally getting settled in and really seeing God's hand in my life..through our move to Ohio.. I know we were meant to be here for a reason..and now, that I am making some really wonderful new friends..It is getting much easier..so thank you new Cincy friends!! Also, when praying about a church to visit.. I researched them all..and listening to each pastor ( on the websites) I tried to find one that had it all in one place.. Great biblical preaching, MOPs, Women's bible study, secure and safe nursery, and overall friendly.. I think God answered my prayers! I just didn't want to put P in several different nurserys..esp, since we are new!
I loved the guest speaker at MCC, Sunday..
Also, pretty random.. but, I got bold and message two people I have never met via fbook.. One is the new Senior High minister's wife, Ashley-- she has been super sweet!! I thought she and I could really relate since we are both new.. :) and she and I plan to get our families together for dinner soon.. So great to meet new people!
Then, this was really crazy.. Last night I was on fbook to see if MCC had a page, they do.. so when I looked at friends..first, girl I click on holding a baby.. is from MEMPHIS...and has a husband, named Matt.. and grew up in Bellevue, and has some of the same friends I do.. HOW insane!!! SO, I had to message her.. She and I play to get our babies together for a playdate soon..So, God is good, all the time.. and I had just put a verse on my chalkboard in my kitchen..that I just love.
give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thess 5:18
So funny, how upset I got with the move.. looking back.. it was really hard, but this experience has taught me soooo much about God's will.. his plan..not about me.. never has been...
I have learned alot about faith, too.. and putting more faith in my prayers.. knowing that whatever the answer..no, yes, wait.. He is God, He is in Control, and HE loves me!
SO great to see Him work.. And I am looking forward to Sept. --that's when Mops and the bible study I am doing will start.. So excited!!
I just love being a mommy..of this little angel!!! Sorry for all the naked pics.. she is going through a phase where she loves to take her pants or shirt off.. lol.. hope this only lasts a season..:)
