No more for Piggy, and No more for Presley! :)Well, my little angel has broke her cute little habit. I have to admit, being a dental assistant in my previous life, made me a Paci pusher.. I didn't won't Miss P to suck her thumb, and cause lots of teeth problems later...so I admit.. I let her have it..
And, now that we are pasted 18 months.. I thought it was time to see it go. Although, she looked so cute with it..
It was time.
It went much better than expected. Now, that she is taking one long nap in the afternoon..by then, she is so tired, that she didn't even remember it.
Now, bedtime..different story.
We put her down around 8:15, said our prayers, the usual routine.. just acted as if I had never seen a paci in my life.. haha..
Then the fun began.. she whined, called out for MOMMY..And DADDY! Matt and I both just made sad faces at each other and said.. we will make it through.. then 45 min later.. whining turned into laughing.. so I check on her.. LOW and behold, little stinker is SMILING, with NO diapers, and WET SHEETS!!! Trying to get revenge, I suppose.. but, oh no.. it didn't work.. I just calmly changed the sheets (wanting to scream inside:) and I put her back to bed...She lasted another 15 min..no crying this time.. and she was ASLEEP!! She is now on nap #2..and SUCCESS!! I am sooo proud of her..and I am soo happy it has been rather easy.. Now, when I went to grocery shop this morning.. I would have loved to have Mr. paci to make her hush.. she was screaming instead of talking the entire time.. But, I will not give in.. NOPE!! NOT gonna do it!

Oh, I remember taking Avery's paci away. It killed me. Sounds like Presley is going to be just fine! That is awesome!
