Strawberry pickin'

So this morning we get up, eat breakfast and get ready for our playdate.. WE hung out with Suzy today--her husband works with mine. We just met recently at a Carmax cookout..She and I hit it off from the beginning! Her little girl, Lily is 11 months and is a DOLL! She told me there was a Meetup group in our area with moms from Maineville and that we should try it. So we both e-mailed the leader and the first playdate we could both make was today.
It was at Blooms and Berry Farm in Loveland and we were going to pick strawberries.. Well, that sounded awesome to me!! I am getting soo tired of being at home.. so any excuse to be around other moms, I'm in! It was great-- It was muddy, so the girls got pretty dirty.. A sundress probably wasn't the best idea, but, she looked cute, none the less. :)
She was pretty confused about the whole "picking" strawberries concept. You see, she loved helping pick the berries, but everytime I tried to help and looked away she was taking them BACK out of the crate and putting them BACK into the bushes!! This method kindof defeats the purpose..so I picked rather quickly.
Suzy and I were a little early and we went ahead and started, since we had no idea who we were really looking for.. then we started asking random moms.. if they were in the group.. and none of them were...Then, the meetup moms group arrived.(Glad to know they aren't always on time)

They were all super nice--and most have young children, which is nice! As I am getting to know a little about one.. Suzy says to me, "Tiff um, Presley...um.." I turn to find her INSIDE, SITTING, in some ladies FULL basket ( big basket) of strawberries~ kicking and wallowing like a little pig..Oh yeah! So, I am thinking OH NO.. and as I am the lady comes walking over. What in the world do you say, other than, "I am so sorry, can I help you pick more berries??" Thankfully, she was soo sweet and we didn't smash too many..I do hate that the camera was already packed..but, that wouldn't be very nice of me to take a picture, then get my child out of the mess, huh? But, darn that would have made a GREAT picture! My goodness, this child!! She keeps my days interesting! So, Suzy and I decided it was best for us to leave and go grab some lunch..with our very messy little girls! :) We went to a place in Loveland called Paxton.. Five for Friday..a little early:)

It's SUMMER TIME

Today we just stayed at home.. We made good use of the day by getting out Presley's baby pool.. and the fun began! She loves being outside.. so be put on some sunscreen, grabbed a towel, and went outside to play!
1. Orange Crush my favorite drink..was a must on this hot day.
2. Presley's eyelashes are AMAZING.. I really think she got them because I have always wanted them! :) and I am loving her little curls!

3. We miss Matt.. He has worked very long hours this week.. and we are ready for this crazy schedule to go away!
4. My mom( Gigi) is coming to see us this Sunday through Tuesday.. Short stay, but we are just thrilled to have her as much as we can get her!

But, wait there's more :)

5. Presley's cute little booty..and the way she stands with one foot like this JUST like her Daddy stands ALL the time! So cute! So funny, too!

Bubbles

I saw this on the today show. I think I may need to invest in one! lol.. What is does..

Here's why:

We went to our Gymboree class today.. It is always so much fun for Presley! She loves seeing other toddlers her age..and of course, LOVES to play. We are going to try and make the music class tomorrow.. I hope she likes it, too! Here are a few pictures of our class today. I hate taking pictures inside, because I still have so much to learn.. so here is the best I have. Btw, the bubble part is here favorite!! The girl is in HEAVEN, when she sees them. It is so funny!! I know all kids love bubbles.. But, she REALLY LOVES them!!

It was fun.. then we headed over to see Daddy at work.. WE only stayed for a min.. we didn't even get out of the car.. But, we took him a Sweet Tea.. One of the things I miss most about the south.. and told him we loved him! He is working very long hours this week training his sales team.. LIKE 14 hour days.. and he hasn't even seen Presley in two days.. so I thought it would make his day!

It was rather warm today...

Today, Presley and I went shopping at the Outlet Malls in Monroe.. We had a crazy time getting there.. but, we made it...FINALLY! Lets just say, "Mr. Garmin didn't know where he was going!" Anyways.. we made it.. It was VERY hot outside today.. so we didn't stay too long.
I have realized that I have become too "cheap" for even the outlets! I didn't buy ONE thing.. I know, crazy.. but, I am such a bargain shopper these days.. I have become super cheapo! Anyhow, it was super hot.. so I thought we would just go back to the house..take a nap, then maybe, get out again and go to the park.. So, coming home I missed my turn and ended up back on the interstate!! AHHH! I had been driving all day it seemed like.. so I was getting annoyed to say the least! I asked Presley if she wanted to go to the park and said YES, loud and clear! So, I put in the Garmin ( once again I trusted this stupid thing) a nearby park.. and we ended up at the scariest gravel deadend road ever! It was scary, people! So, I just came back home.. we took the nap.. And I got on mapquest and we went to a nearby park to do this: (Ignore messy bedhead please:) Its a really beautiful park called Pine Hills.. We will be going back for sure-- esp, now that I KNOW how to get there! ha

Then we came home, ate dinner...and did one our very favorite things:

Gymboree Day

Today was a fun day.. I have been wanted to find something for Presley to do, with other kids her age, some sort of class that she could enjoy--and get some energy out in! :)
Lindsey ( sweet girl, gotta love her) told me that Gymboree offered a free class to try.. then if ya wanted to, you could by a monthly pass.. so this morning we went to the "free" play and learn class. It is maybe 10 min away, and they had some really great deals going if you sign up that day. SHE LOVED IT!! It was so much fun to watch her play and interact with others her age. Some of the moms even commented on how well she did for her 1st time. Lets just say, my child is NOT shy! She jumped in and dance, raced for bubbles, slide down the slides, etc. If you sign up now, you get $25 off sign up fee, then you also get unlimited classes per month for $59. So we can go 5-6 times a wk if we really wanted to.. Also, you can go anywhere in the U.S. that has classes, got a $25 gymboree buck, and 20% off Janie and Jack, Crazy8, and Gymboree coupons! Crazy! But, we will probably go 2-3. She also get to go to the Music class for her age this month only, so I can't wait to see how she likes it! They also do a theme each week and change up the classroom every 2 weeks, so it looks different. Pretty smart!
When we got home, we had lunch, had naptime.. then we took a walk to get the mail.. I took some pics along the way..I'm really enjoying my daily view! Presley also played outside for a little bit, until she picked up a little surprise in the yard. CLUE: it looked like a hotdog and was brown.. Yeah, GROSS.. so we rushed inside, washed hands many times, and tried to relax from the busy day.. Until, she got bored and thought she would be like Daisy ( our dog) She poured out Daisy's water bowl, then got on all 4's and tried to LICK it off the ground.. UM, GROSS #2! I was on the phone with Court.. so I doing ten things at once, ran in the bathroom.. grabbed a towel, for the wet floor.. ran back to the bathroom to find, oh, so precious Presley with both hands in the TOILET!!AHHHHHHHHHH.. she makin me crazy man! So we had hand wash#2.. and called it a day.. She keeps me on my toes.. and I am sooo proud to be her Mommy. But, I now realize why people find Gray hairs.. I see mine a' coming!
