Things...

We have a DADDY's GIRL.. this is for sure! She loves him.. and I love just watching the two of them-- how could you not, when he shares his phone and his chocolate chip cookie!? :)

I had a pretty great day with my little gal.. We started the morning, just hanging out.. then went to Target..then headed to the park..but, boy its getting HOT.. I was kindof wishing we would have gone swimming instead! :) WE did pick up some of these so we CAN go swimming NOW, YIPPEE!!!
I really missed home today.. I guessed it really hit me when my mom came and went.. That I am here to stay.. Days like today, I miss my family, my church, and my friends.. I LOVED my moms bible study.. I miss it! I can't wait to get involved in another one.. but, now I have to have childcare... I am just praying that God points me in the right direction. To find the perfect fit!

I am reading most nights.. here's what I am reading at the moment.. Funny how your reading changes when you have children. :) yes, I am reading them both!

I also joined a meetup moms group in the area..They are mostly from Maineville and Mason.. and a lot have younger kiddos.. They plan weekly events and you make as many as you can--Suzy asked me to join it with her.. and it is a great way to get out of the house-ya know what I mean, jellybean! lol
SO, tommorrow I am VERY excited.. because the meetup group is going to Parky's farm.. I can't wait to take P! She LOVES animals.. and farm animals are just the best! ;) Here are some pics I found online...I will have to take my camera for more!
Also, tommorrow Grandmommy and Granddad are coming to visit.. YAY! WE are just super excited!!

Gigi came to visit us!

My mom (Gigi) came to visit us for a few days.. It was so great to have her here.. It was short, but it was sweet! We picked her up from the airport on Sunday, and sweet Matt suggested we take her to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. IT IS SOOO GOOD! My favorite was of course the dessert! Mom and I split a Brownie Sundae Cheesecake.. oh my my! I LOVED EVERY SINGLE BITE! Then the next day, Memorial Day, Matt had to work.. so Presley and I took her to sight see.. WE ate lunch in downtown Loveland, then came back home and spent some time here. We also got to see a movie together.. Letters to Juliet-- it was a great chick flick! I really didn't take many pics like I should have...Hopefully, next trip I will!
On another note.. I was so happy to come outside and find this .. yard boys had trimmed the bushes and laid out new mulch..so pretty..love that I nor Matt had to do it, too! :) Althought, I am going to get some flowers and pots..just to add a little color!

Yay! I am in a great mood.. Sweet Lindsey referred my to a stylist here in Ohio-- and I am in LOVE!! Her name is Tammy and she ROCKS!!

She did exactly what I asked! If you know me well, you know I am super picky about my hair.. and have had my share of BAD experiences! So here is the new do..some of these pics are warmer.. But, the color blonde is PERFECT.. NO BRASSY blonde here! I love the bangs, too.. I forgot to take pics when I got home..it was more full yesterday..oh well, I can never do it like the stylist can. :)

Strawberry pickin'

So this morning we get up, eat breakfast and get ready for our playdate.. WE hung out with Suzy today--her husband works with mine. We just met recently at a Carmax cookout..She and I hit it off from the beginning! Her little girl, Lily is 11 months and is a DOLL! She told me there was a Meetup group in our area with moms from Maineville and that we should try it. So we both e-mailed the leader and the first playdate we could both make was today.
It was at Blooms and Berry Farm in Loveland and we were going to pick strawberries.. Well, that sounded awesome to me!! I am getting soo tired of being at home.. so any excuse to be around other moms, I'm in! It was great-- It was muddy, so the girls got pretty dirty.. A sundress probably wasn't the best idea, but, she looked cute, none the less. :)
She was pretty confused about the whole "picking" strawberries concept. You see, she loved helping pick the berries, but everytime I tried to help and looked away she was taking them BACK out of the crate and putting them BACK into the bushes!! This method kindof defeats the purpose..so I picked rather quickly.
Suzy and I were a little early and we went ahead and started, since we had no idea who we were really looking for.. then we started asking random moms.. if they were in the group.. and none of them were...Then, the meetup moms group arrived.(Glad to know they aren't always on time)

They were all super nice--and most have young children, which is nice! As I am getting to know a little about one.. Suzy says to me, "Tiff um, Presley...um.." I turn to find her INSIDE, SITTING, in some ladies FULL basket ( big basket) of strawberries~ kicking and wallowing like a little pig..Oh yeah! So, I am thinking OH NO.. and as I am the lady comes walking over. What in the world do you say, other than, "I am so sorry, can I help you pick more berries??" Thankfully, she was soo sweet and we didn't smash too many..I do hate that the camera was already packed..but, that wouldn't be very nice of me to take a picture, then get my child out of the mess, huh? But, darn that would have made a GREAT picture! My goodness, this child!! She keeps my days interesting! So, Suzy and I decided it was best for us to leave and go grab some lunch..with our very messy little girls! :) We went to a place in Loveland called Paxton.. It's SUMMER TIME

Today we just stayed at home.. We made good use of the day by getting out Presley's baby pool.. and the fun began! She loves being outside.. so be put on some sunscreen, grabbed a towel, and went outside to play!
1. Orange Crush my favorite drink..was a must on this hot day.
2. Presley's eyelashes are AMAZING.. I really think she got them because I have always wanted them! :) and I am loving her little curls!

3. We miss Matt.. He has worked very long hours this week.. and we are ready for this crazy schedule to go away!
4. My mom( Gigi) is coming to see us this Sunday through Tuesday.. Short stay, but we are just thrilled to have her as much as we can get her!

But, wait there's more :)

5. Presley's cute little booty..and the way she stands with one foot like this JUST like her Daddy stands ALL the time! So cute! So funny, too!

We went to our Gymboree class today.. It is always so much fun for Presley! She loves seeing other toddlers her age..and of course, LOVES to play. We are going to try and make the music class tomorrow.. I hope she likes it, too! Here are a few pictures of our class today. I hate taking pictures inside, because I still have so much to learn.. so here is the best I have. Btw, the bubble part is here favorite!! The girl is in HEAVEN, when she sees them. It is so funny!! I know all kids love bubbles.. But, she REALLY LOVES them!!

It was fun.. then we headed over to see Daddy at work.. WE only stayed for a min.. we didn't even get out of the car.. But, we took him a Sweet Tea.. One of the things I miss most about the south.. and told him we loved him! He is working very long hours this week training his sales team.. LIKE 14 hour days.. and he hasn't even seen Presley in two days.. so I thought it would make his day!
